Interviewed during her show's initial weekend at the Khan Studio, part of the Rocky Neck Art Colony in Gloucester, MA, the video interview done by Joey Ciaramitaro of Good Morning Gloucester blog and gallery, reveals a side of Adriana "Gigi" Mederos that many of her friends already know well. In the interview, Gigi reveals the limitations of her eyesight and how she uses the extreme-close focus of her vision to create the works of art that she has made for this show.

In addition, she gives great background info about her life before moving to the States from Venezuela in 1980. Adriana also goes into detail how printmaking returned to her work in the last couple of years and how its influence has pushed her to be more experimental and broadened her visual vocabulary.
