Adriana Mederos Studio Opens In Rocky Neck, MA - 2011

Artist Demonstrations Begin This Weekend!

Adriana Mederos and Stevie Black are pleased to announce the opening of Adriana Mederos Studio, working studio and exhibition space on Madfish Alley on Rocky Neck in Gloucester, MA. Open Wednesdays through Sunday from noon to 8 p.m., We will be showcasing many of Gigi Mederos' hybrid paintings, as well as a selection of works on paper and canvas. After showing her work for two weeks next door at the Khan Studio as the featured artist over the July 4th holiday, Adriana learned that one of the galleries along the artist row on Madfish Alley was still available and she immediately signed the lease. The new gallery space is well-lit and affords visitors a chance to see and purchase many different works and follow her development as an artist over the last few years. She will also be using the space as a working studio throughout the summer and early fall and so this is a time to see Mederos in action and to watch her as she works.

Part of the vital art community in and around Cape Ann, Rockport and Gloucester, Rocky Neck has been home to some of America's finest, most original artists for more than 100 years. Adriana's new space is part of a revitalization of Madfish Alley with many new shops and gallery spaces opening this season among the more established spaces. Most of the galleries and shops are open during the evening hours and see a lot of traffic from the neighboring restaurants and bars.
